For the exciting summer vacation, the “7th New Jerusalem Festival for Youth Students” was held at the Okcheon Go&Come Training Institute on July 26. Over 10,000 middle and high school students gathered together to participate in this festival, and they spend meaningful time sharing friendship and heavenly hope.

After having a pleasant lunch on the lawn as if they went out on a picnic, they attended the welcoming ceremony. Heavenly Mother joyfully greeted the students with pure and beautiful souls, and wished them to realize the truth in the days of youth, full of curiosity and dreams, and to hope for the heavenly kingdom where God’s unimaginable blessings await them.

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim introduced the truth of the Church established by God, and wished them to spend their vacation learning what God’s will for them is, so that it would be the most meaningful and valuable time in the days of their youth.

After the welcoming ceremony, a short play depicting the story about students was performed on stage. Through the play, the students showed what the best gift to give their friends is—that’s the truth of the heavenly kingdom. The play was combined with some UCC video clips to explain the truth easily and give the students great fun and impression.

When the play finished, there was a Bible study for the students to satisfy their curiosity about the truth. The students confirmed the truth, which they had heard from their friends, through the Bible, and became interested in the Word. Holding their friends’ hands, they smiled brightly and said, “I think this Church truly follows the teachings of the Bible. Every word of God is so amazing. When I return to my place, I will study the Bible more.”

After the event, the students enjoyed recreational games, gathering here and there around the Institute. They made good memories together, sharing true friendship and heavenly hope.
