On November 20, the dedication service for the Church of God in Gangnam, Seoul, was held in the evening along with the Third-Day service. The members from nearby churches also attended the service, so approximately 1,200 members congratulated the churches’ dedication together.

The Church of God built in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, has a total floor area of 2,442 square meters and has three stories above ground and two underground levels. The outer appearance with glass and metal gives a really classy look, and reminds us of an art gallery. Inside the church, there are a fellowship room, education rooms, an office, baptism rooms, a cafeteria, etc. including the main worship hall with 800 seats.

Since the light of truth came to shine over this region, Mother was much pleased with the dedication service and offered the prayer of thanks to God the Father for granting such a beautiful temple. Mother prayed that the new temples would be filled with good fruit, so that they would display the glory of God. She blessed the members and asked them to shine the light of truth and receive praise and honor from the world.

Continually General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol spoke that as prophesied in the Bible, all nations and kings around the world are coming into the light of the glory of Mother who is testified in the Bible. Additionally, he put emphasis on the mission of the church to shine the glory of God the Mother who is the life, in Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

The Church of God in Gangnam, Seoul, always makes efforts to clean up the neighboring area, so the residents living around the area, give praise, saying, “Since the Church of God stepped in, the streets have become clean and bright.” Seeing all the members cleaning in and out of the church in unity regardless of age or gender, the residents were greatly admired, saying, “This area has become bright and has heightened the level of living.”

Through the dedication of the Church of God in Gangnam, Seoul, now the Churches of God stood up high in all the boroughs in Seoul. The members reaffirmed their determination, saying, “There are still many people who are spiritually in difficulty, wandering in darkness without knowing the existence of God the Mother. We will shine the light of Mother’s love over them through the truth of the new covenant and our good deeds, so that we will lead them to the kingdom of heaven where God the Father and God the Mother dwell together.”
